Foto; Pangdam IX/Udayana Inspects Location for Construction of West Manggarai Kodim and Subdenpom
BALI – LOKADEWATANEWS.COM – West Manggarai – Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., carried out an inspection of the location for the construction of the West Manggarai Kodim (New Kodim) and inspected the TNI AD SBSN Service Housing, located on Jalan Serenaru, Wae Kelambu Village, Komodo District, West Manggarai Regency, on Wednesday (27/9/2023).
Apart from reviewing the location for the construction of the West Manggarai Kodim and SBSN Service Housing, the Pangdam also reviewed the location of the land belonging to the TNI AD where the West Manggarai Subdenpom Headquarters is planned to be built in Batu Cermin Village.
This review is carried out so that the Pangdam knows the real conditions in the field and ensures that the location chosen is in accordance with needs and meets established standards. The formation of this new unit is a strategic step that will benefit society and national defense.
It is hoped that the construction of the West Manggarai Kodim and the West Manggarai Subdenpom will also increase supervision and security in West Manggarai Regency, bearing in mind that the challenge ahead is to support the regional government in organizing and increasing tourism in the area.
It is known that Labuan Bajo has been used as a venue for national and international activities several times, so now and in the future, the presence of Kodim units in West Manggarai is very necessary to support the main tasks of the TNI so that they can synergize with the local government.
During the review, the Pangdam was accompanied by Danrem 161/Wira Sakti, Asintel Kasdam IX/Udayana, Asops Kasdam IX/Udayana, Kasi Ops Kasrem 161/WS, Dandenpom IX/1 Kupang, Kasmin Pangdam IX/Udayana, and Danramil 1612-02/Komodo. (Pendam IX/Udy)
