Bali Police Chief Leads the Destruction of Drug Evidence


Bali – Bali Police Chief Inspector General. Pol. Drs. I Putu Jayan Danu Putra, S.H., M.Sc., accompanied by the Director of Drug Research at the Bali Police, Kombes. Pol. Mochamad Khozin, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., and the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes. Pol. Syamsi, S.H., while attending the Drug Evidence Destruction event which took place in the backyard of the Bali Police Headquarters, Wednesday (17/11/2021).

Circulation of drugs and illegal drugs has spread to all ages in society, drug abuse will have a negative impact on health which will ultimately damage the next generation of the nation and state. Prevention and eradication of drug abuse is our shared responsibility.

As evidence of the seriousness of the Police, especially the Bali Police in preventing the abuse of narcotics and illegal drugs in the Bali Police jurisdiction.

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Bali Police held an event for the Destruction of Drug Evidence and invited related elements as evidence of the destroyed evidence, all of which were the results of the arrests of the Bali Police Drug Research Directorate.

In his remarks, the Head of the Bali Police, Inspector General. Pol. Drs. I Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, SH, M.Sc., said that the extermination of evidence and narcotics found today is a program that is carried out every year, and this destruction aims to avoid changes in substances that can be dangerous if stored in long term.

“The destruction of evidence at the end of 2021 is a form of accountability and shows that the Bali Police is committed to eradicating illicit drug trafficking in order to create a conducive situation and conditions for welcoming Christmas and the new year of 2022,” he said.

“Meanwhile, the Two Star General also appeals and invites all of us to commit to abstain from drugs and together declare war on drugs,” he concluded.

“In the future, it is hoped that we can make the younger generation the backbone of the country to avoid acts of abuse and illicit drug trafficking,” said the Kapolda.

Appearing to be present at the event was the Head of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, Ade T. Sutiawarman, SH., MH, Head of Class II A Kerobokan Prison Fikri Jaya Soebing, A. Md, IP, SH, MH, Representatives of the National Narcotics Agency of Bali Province and all invited guests who also attended the event. also attended and witnessed the process of destroying this drug evidence.

As for the evidence that was destroyed at the event, namely 65.46 grams of methamphetamine, 5318.47 grams of marijuana, 230 pills of extacy, and 50 psychotropic substances (team).
