Karangasem Regional Police Distribute Takjil and Grocery Packages to Children and Pregnant Women

Lokadewatanews.com – Bali – Bali Regional Police, Karangasem Regional Police – Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1441 H Karangasem Regional Police conduct social service activities. The Holy Month of Ramadan which is a month full of blessings, forgiveness and grace and compassion by sharing Takjil with Sekarkaton Muslim children totaling 100 people and Sekarkaton recitation mothers, amounting to 21 people and 4 pregnant women. Located at the Nurul Jihad Mosque in Sekarkaton, Lingk. Sekarkaton, Kel, Kec and Regency of Karangasem. Thursday (5/21/2020).

The activity was led by Karangasem Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Ni Nyoman Suartini, S.I.K., M.M.Tr., along with Karangasem Wakapol Kompol Aris Purwanto, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., Chief Officer of Karangasem Police, Karangasem Police Chief I Ketut Suartika Adnyana, S.H. and the Karangasem Regional Police Corps.

Karangasem Police Chief said “This activity is a form of gratitude for the Karangasem Regional Police in order to increase concern for others in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as strengthen the relationship between the Police and the community,” said AKBP Ni Nyoman Suartini.

“This activity is a Karangasem Regional Police program during the Holy Month of Ramadan to distribute food packages and takjil to the public”, he said.

When distributing the Karangasem police chief and all the Karangasem police officers involved, he also paid attention to the safety protocols imposed by the government, such as wearing masks and not shaking hands.

“Hopefully, with this kind of activity, hopefully what is given can be useful and useful when celebrating Eid al-Adha and hopefully the Covid-19 pandemic situation can be quickly resolved and community activities return to normal and continue to follow the government’s recommendations for the prevention of Covid-19,” he concluded.
