The unemployed young man can finally be arrested after taking a package at the freight forwarding office on Jalan Danau Poso, South Denpasar, Thursday (12/12/2019) around 15:00 WITA.
During a search, the police found a cardboard box wrapped in black plastic. When opened, inside the cardboard were 6 plastic clips containing gorilla tobacco.
For development, the perpetrators were then taken to his boarding house on Jalan Resimuka Barat, West Denpasar. From the suspect’s room, again found 5 plastic clips containing gorilla tobacco.
“The suspect claimed to have gotten gorilla tobacco by ordering on social media. The item was purchased for Rp. 25 million, with a payment system transferred and the goods were sent via an expedition,” said the Denpasar Police Chief.
The suspect was charged under article 112 (1) of the Law. RI. No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum penalty of 4 years and a maximum of 12 years in prison, and a fine of Rp.800 million (TIM).
