Dream Cruises today celebrated the maiden arrival of Explorer Dream in Bali (Benoa) as part of a special relocation 21-Night ‘Odyssey from Asia to Australia’ cruise, which departed from Shanghai on 6 October 2019.

Cruises’ pathfinder ship, Explorer Dream, is taking its first step to evolve Dream Cruises into “Asia’s Global Cruise Line” by sailing and homeporting beyond Asia for the very first time, creating new milestones for Dream Cruises.
Explorer Dream will homeport in Sydney (Australia) and Auckland (New Zealand) starting 27 October and 15 December 2019 respectively, where she will embark on avariety of seven-night weekly itineraries to “Down Under” destinations and around New Zealand, offering a great variety of itineraries and flexibility.
As part of this special relocation cruise from Asia to Australia, Explorer Dream is excited to celebrate her inaugural arrival in two of Indonesia’s popular destinations, which include Tanjung Priok in Jakarta (15 Oct) and Benoa in Bali (17 Oct).
Explorer Dream’s maiden voyage to these two Indonesian ports saw the arrival of international cruise passengers from across the region, including from places like China, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
Explorer Dream’s special visit to Indonesia further complements Dream Cruises’ ongoing efforts to support the local cruise tourism industry with her sister ship, Genting Dream, which is currently homeported in Singapore, calling regularly to Bintan, Surabaya and Bali in Indonesia throughout the year.
Besides that, the upcoming deployment of Explorer Dream in Australia and New Zealand, as well as Genting Dream in Singapore will also provide more vacation options for Indonesian travellers with Fly-Cruise opportunities, complemented by exciting itineraries.
These three countries are world-renowned cruise hubs with excellent flight connectivity from Indonesia and already a popular destination among many Indonesians, which may wish to extend their holiday with a pre or post cruise with Dream Cruises.
Explorer Dream made her debut to the premium and luxury Asian market in April 2019, joining both her sister ships, Genting Dream and World Dream as part of the current Dream Cruises fleet.
